Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts provides a great natural setting for the enjoyment of artistic performances. The park, surrounded by accelerated and dense commercial and residential development Residential Development, has become a natural enclave in the middle of suburbia. The woodlands Forest Oak / Hickory, streams, and various wetlands Wetlandsdispersed throughout the park are threatened by increasing populations of deer Deer and invasive plant species Exotic Plant Species associated with the suburban setting. The park harbors a large variety of habitat for its small size including farmland Tractor, forest Forest Oak / Hickory, and upland meadows Meadows, and contributes to the overall water quality of Fairfax County, VA.
